1. What is the turnaround time for translations? The
translation period depends on the following factors: -
The length of the text- The level of difficulty
(whether technical or general, any research necessary, etc.) We
will always meet your deadlines, however urgent. 2.
What will a translation cost? Will I qualify for a volume discount? Translations
are charged in euros. Our prices start at €1.16 (EUR) per line (one line consists of 50 key
strokes, incl. empty spaces DIN standard). Of course, translation
of simple everyday texts costs less than more challenging technical
texts. We are happy to negotiate bulk discounts, depending on the
amount of work involved. For more details please refer to our prices
section. 3.
What is the billing method for your service? We
provide our customers with e-mail, postal or fax invoicing, and
accept payment using direct bank transfer or a banker’s cheque
within 14 days of the invoice date. For ongoing orders, monthly
accounts can be arranged. 4.
Describe the technical fluency of your translators? Are they experienced
in translating technical terminology? Yes.
Each industry has its own vocabulary of technical terms. Industry
insiders learn this vocabulary over several years as it becomes
an integral part of their language use. This area poses the greatest
challenge for translators. Words that at first sight seem familiar
to the outsiders may in fact have a completely different meaning.
Each of our translators has his/her own individual area of specialisation. 5.
Where is the translation service performed? Are the translators
onsite or external contractors? Both.
Although the majority of our translations are rendered onsite, we
also use a small circle of external freelancers to increase our
expertise. 6.
What are the qualifications of your translators? What is their educational
background? We
ensure all our translators are full-time qualified and experienced
professionals translating into their native tongue.
